The Strayngers are an alternative band from Los Angeles comprised of frontperson Shane Tanksley, guitarist Sergio Galindo and bassist Jesse Es.

Inspired by the unique environments of Mexico City, Los Angeles and everywhere in between—their sound offers dreamy sonic landscapes paired with grounded, lucid rhythms and vocals.

Formed in 2019, The Strayngers started playing out at clubs and festivals around the city and developing a reputation for their energetic, feel good performances—while simultaneously devoting themselves to recording a debut full length album in Sergio’s home studio.

This record eventually turned into two related pieces of work that will form both episodes of their debut release: I Don’t Know.

The Strayngers believe in an inclusive, DIY approach that does not compromise on quality or purpose.
